When the PGA Championship kicks off at Whistling Straits golf course in Kohler, Wisconsin, on Thursday, Too often, for any next generation, a “Where are they now?” is really a “Who were they then?” However, that’s hardly the case for the main actors of the live reality show that was the 2010 PGA Championship.

Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and Zach Johnson tee off at 2:20 p.m. on Thursday afternoon while Phil Mickelson, Jason Dufner and Padraig Harrington follow at 2:30 p.m. Tiger Woods, Martin Kaymer and Keegan Bradley tee off at 9:15 a.m.

The PGA Championship returns to Whistling Straits for the third time (2004, 2010) with a huge number of players who have a good chance to win the Wanamaker trophy. Jordan Spieth, who is looking to become the third man in history to win three professional majors in a year, leads the field that also features a returning Rory McIlroy.

Rory McIlroy got in a full practice round at Whistling Straits on Saturday a little more than a month after suffering an ankle injury — and declared himself “good” as he looks to defend his title.

He is grouped for the first two rounds of the PGA Championship with world No. 2 Spieth and The Open champion Zach Johnson. They tee off at 2:20 p.m. ET on Thursday.

2015 record: 18 starts, wins in the Valspar Championship, Masters, U.S. Open and John Deere Classic; 12 top-10s 2015 major record: Won the Masters, won the U.S. Open, finished in a tie for fourth at the British Open, McIlroy finished third, one shot out of a playoff, when the PGA was played at Whistling Straits in 2010.
