Dhaka University announces admission to MBA Evening Program 2016
Dhaka University invites applications for admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) Evening Program for the academic session 2016-17.
The MBA Evening Program
This is a full-time career oriented Post Graduate Program in Management. The duration is one years. On successful completion of the course, the students will be awarded the MBA degree Specializations Offered at Dhaka University.
MBA (Evening) is an addition to the existing academic programs of the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka. The program was designed and has been executing in view of the growing demand of the executive for developing necessary skills and learning appropriate analytical tools and techniques of decision making in effectively and efficiently managing organizations.
Duration of the Course: There will be three semester in a year.
The candidate should have Applicants should have at least a Bechelor degree in any discipline with a minimum of 6 points to qualify for application for admission into the MBA evening program. Points are to be computed as follows:
* First Division= 3
* Second Division= 2
* Third Devision=1
* CGPA: 4 = 3
* CGPA: 3 = 2
* CGPA: 2 = 1
Students appearing for seeking admission in the program will have to sit for a written admission test of 90 minutes. Test will be conducted on aptitude , logical reasoning, situational analysis and analytical ability.
It is a competitive test of 80 marks distributed in two sections as follows:
MCQ Type: Skills in English Language and Communication——————– 40 Marks
MCQ Type: Skills in Logical Reasoning, Critical Analysis and Mathematics— 40 Marks
The minimum qualifying marks in the written test is 30. In MCQ type question, there will be negative marking for wrong answer. For every wrong answer, 1/5th marks of one correct answer will be deducted. Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the Dhaka University.

*Applicant Must fill in the online Admission form carefully. The fields which are indicated with star marks(*) are mandatory to fill in.
*First fill in the admission form with all information as required. after filling the above fields a “EMBA Login ID” will be displayed on the next screen. Applicant should note down preserve the EMBA Login ID (Example: 20160001) as s/he will require it for payment and further login.
Candidate will be require to submit filled-in application forms to the Coordinator of Admission, Office of the Dean, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka. Application form Can be obtained from Sonali Bank, Dhaka University Campus Branch, Register’s Office Building, University of Dhaka, on payment of a non-refundable fee of Tk. 1000.

Admission Fee: 1500/- (One Thousand Five Hundred Taka)
EMBA Admission Test Date: 29th July on Friday from 10:00am to 11:30am

Application must take a clear print of the Admit Card. Applicants can print/download the Admit card any time instantly by logging in the applicants Unique EMBA Login ID and the Mobile Number. Without the Admit Card applicants will not be allowed appear in the application test.Application must bring their original copy of all academic certificates and experience certificates in the viva-voce for those who will be called.
Admission and Course Fee:
Each student will pay semester enrolment fee of Tk. 3000, registration fee of Tk. 10000 (One time), and Tk. 2500 for each credit hour. Depending upon waiver of courses, the total cost varies from Tk 112000 to Tk 199000 to complete the MBA (Evening) program.
